About AlbionForge
A guild accountant's toolkit for Albion Online - free, fan-made, and honest about its math.
What this is
AlbionForge is a set of four profit calculators for Albion Online: refining, crafting, city-to-city transport and artifact enchanting. They answer one question quickly: is this activity actually profitable at my prices?
User-entered prices - a feature, not a limitation
AlbionForge deliberately does not pull live market data. There is no API key, no scrape, no delayed feed. You look at the in-game market (or your favorite market site) and type in the numbers you can actually trade at. Three reasons:
- Accuracy. Stale “average price” feeds routinely lie about what you can really buy or sell at. Your own numbers never do.
- Privacy & uptime. No data pipeline means no outages, no rate limits, and nothing to track you with.
- Speed. Static pages that load instantly, anywhere - including on a second monitor mid-session.
Where the game rules come from
Return rates, market tax structure, focus costs, refining recipes and city bonuses are baked into the calculators as editable presets, sourced from the Albion Online community wiki and linked on each page. Every preset can be overridden, because patches change numbers and your in-game station fee is yours.
Who keeps the ledger
AlbionForge is built and maintained by a small team of Albion Online players who got tired of re-doing the same spreadsheets every patch. Pages and code are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the maintainer - every game number is checked against the sources listed on the methodology page, where the testing setup is documented too.
Contact: [email protected] - corrections, bug reports and preset updates after game patches are welcome, and corrections are credited in the changelog.
